07/28/17 16:46 Basic: Petey is an unaltered small breed dog that the owner found a few blocks from her home so she is unsure of his age. The owner has never taken Petey to the vet. Socialization: Around strangers, Petey is described as friendly. Petey has never lived or interacted with children. Petey plays gently with adults. Petey has lived with 2 small breed female dogs and 4 small breed male dogs, he is very relaxed and respectful of them. Petey does not play with other dogs. Petey has lived with 7 cats and he is respectful of their space. Petey has never bitten or scratched another animal or a person. Behavior: Petey does not like being walked and prefers to be carried. During storms and fireworks, Petey is extremely nervous. Petey is not bothered when he is given a bath, has his nails trimmed, when food or treats are taken away from him, or when he is brushed. Petey barks when the doorbell rings. For a New Family to Know: Petey is described as friendly. Petey has a low level of activity and the owner’s favorite thing about Petey is how quiet he is compared to her other dogs. Petey does not like to play with toys. When the owner is home, Petey stays in his favorite spot. Petey is fed Beneful wet and dry food. Petey uses a newspaper to urinate and defecate. Petey has never been walked by the owner on a leash. Upon intake, Petey allowed being leashed, collared, and having his picture taken. Petey was receptive to petting.
