Little PERLA was surrendered to us as her owner had no time to take care of a pet anymore. Perla, indeed, came to us all matted , her thin body covered by a cushion of tangled hair. She is quite beautiful and girly under her messy disguise. I love her button eyes and her lovely tiny white teeth… Perla is a bit shy but accepts my leash and off we go for a walk. She does her business right away but i do not know if she is house trained. She meets other dogs uneventfully although she has not been playful in playgroup with her peers. We are told that Perla never mingled with her kind. She would be timid with strangers at first but very loving and affectionate toward her family, a mother and a young son… Perla is as hungry as a bear. She has to put a little more meat around her bones. She can sit and dances and her hinds for treats. She likes petting and even will jump on the bench for bonding. Perla will need you very soon….A loving and quiet home at first would be most suitable for this sensitive little gal. Come and meet Perla at the Manhattan Care Center and take her home.
