Sensitivity: 1. Dog leans into the Assessor, eyes soft, soft and loose body, open mouth. Tag: 1. Dog assumes play position and joins the game. Or dog indicates play with huffing, soft ‘popping’ of the body, etc. Dog jumps on Assessor once play begins. Squeeze 1: 1. Dog does not respond at all for three seconds. Her eyes are averted and her ears are relaxed. Squeeze 2: 2. Dog quickly pulls back. Toy: 1. Dog settles down close to chew, will relinquish toy to you. When off leash with dogs at the Care Center, Penelope solicits and engages in high energy play with male and female dogs. The Behavior Department believes that Penelope would be most comfortable in a home with playful resident dogs, however due to the sociability towards other dogs that Penelope has displayed at the Care Center, the Behavior Department believes that Penelope would be comfortable with dogs with various personalities. 12/23: Penelope displays loose and wiggly body language when greeting male and female dogs.
