A volunteer writes: Pebbles is a quirky older gal that I am just smitten with! Considering she was with her previous family since she was just 10 weeks old I think she’s handled this transition in her life remarkably well. We’re told she was relaxed and playful around children, hasn’t been socialized with other animals, loves to play fetch and tug, is very much housebroken, knows commands, is well-behaved when left alone, and loved to follow her person around the house….what a resume! She always solicits my attention as soon as I enter the room she’s staying in and has been wonderful company. She has been a breeze to walk on leash and seem a little sad, but has bouts of being very waggy. She loves treats and has the most ADORABLE habit of rolling around on her fresh bedding or in the grass (and staying for belly rubs!!). She is short and stocky with a face that is meant to be mushed and is just a little treasure! Please check her out at Brooklyn ACC and see if you could be her Bam-Bam!
