I got to walk Pebbles again today. I do ♥ this girl. This is what I imagined her internal dialogue to be like: ” My name is Pebbles. In Paris, where I imagine I am while I lay in my kennel, they pronounce my name ‘Peb-lay’. I’m a sophisticated lady, who really should be eating macaroons from Pierre Herme and taking strolls through the Eiffel Tower. So what if I get a little excited and have a case of ‘happy tail’? It only
adds to my charm. Like most Parisians, I wear all black to make me look skinnier. As a matter of fact, I’ve even lost a few pounds and am not as chunky as I was when I first got to the ACC. Not enough Macaroons, I guess. I like other dogs and really want a home so that I can go on lots of walks and continue to work on my figure. I know I won’t ever get to walk along the Seine River, or see Notre Dame, but I’d settle for a trot in Prospect Park any day. A girl can only dream.” Please please please, let’s not forget about this gentle girl.

A volunteer wrote: Pebbles , a 10 mo small male was surrendered on 9/18/09 as his owner had no time to bring up a pup. pebbles is said to be very loving and affectionate, very good with adults and children, good on the leash, obedient but not yet housebroken. He can be at times a little bit hyper when first met. Pebbles is really cute, a little piece of black shiny coal, active and playful and very friendly. He is quite good onthe leash. Pebbles is not mouthy and does not jump at new comers. He weights 26lbs.
