Basic Information: Pebbles is an 11 year old, small mixed breed female who was spayed prior to coming into the shelter. She has not seen a vet recently and appeared to have a skin condition upon intake. She has been in her previous home for 11 years and was surrendered due to the owner moving.
Previously lived with: 1 adult, 1 dog
How is this dog around strangers? Pebbles is friendly and outgoing when meeting new people. She will bark when guests first come into the home, but after to approaches and sniffs them she will calm down.
How is this dog around children? Pebbles has spent time around children 1 year to teenagers and is friendly and relaxed around them.
How is this dog around other dogs? Pebbles has lived with 1 other male dog in the home and was affectionate and playful with him. He was a litter mate and they have lived their entire life together.
How is this dog around cats? Pebbles has not spent time around cats before.

Other Notes: Pebble’s is not bothered by having her food or toys touched. She allows her owner to bathe and brush her, but the owner has not trimmed her nails. Pebbles gets down off the furniture when told “get down”.

Medical Notes: Pebble’s has possible food allergies and came into the shelter with a rash.
For a New Family to Know: Pebble’s is described as being friendly, affectionate and mellow. She has been an indoor dog, likes to follow her owner around when she is home, and play with squeaky toys and chew bones. Pebbles eats both wet and dry food, is house trained to go outside and only has occasional accidents inside. She is well behaved when left alone in the house and sleeps on her dog bed. She plays outside in the yard for exercise and walks on leash.
Behavior Notes: Pebble’s was relaxed and friendly during intake. She allowed counselor to remove her harness and walked well on the leash.
