Finder had Peaches for 3 weeks but is unable to keep her due to his landlord not allowing pets. Socialization: According to the finder, around strangers, Peaches is shy for a few minutes. She has been around children ages 3,4 and 5 and finder stated she was respectful around the children. Finder did not have any cats or dogs in the home therefore her behavior around other animals is unknown. Behavior: Finder has not tried to take away her food, treats or toys, push her off furniture, or trim her nails therefore behavior is unknown. Peach is not bothered by being held/restrained or being disturbed while she is sleeping. Finder stated she is afraid of being given a bath and will bark and struggle to get away. For a New Family to Know: Peaches is described as friendly, affectionate, playful, shy around new people, pushy, and mellow with a medium activity level. In the home, Peaches would either follow the finder around or be in her favorite spot. Finder kept her indoors only and stated she is partially house-trained. She had a few accidents in owners house since he found her. When owner left Peaches alone in his home, he stated that she was well behaved. He has not tried to crate train her so he is unsure how she would react to having it done. For exercise, finder would take Peaches on slow walks outside. On the leash, Peaches pulls very hard. Finder stated he even kept her off leash and that she stayed by his side during the walk. Peaches knows the command sit. In the home, finder fed Peaches dry food only brand Puppy Chow. Behavior during intake: Peaches was nervous during intake and whining. When I was scanning her for a m/c, she kept trying to hide behind finder. I was able to collar her and take her picture without any issues.
