Peaches
Hello, my name is Peaches . My animal id is #14757. I am a desexed female tan dog at the Brooklyn Animal Care Center. The shelter thinks I am about 8 years 1 weeks old.
I came into the shelter as a owner surrender on 27-Nov-2017, with the surrender reason stated as person health – medical.
Peaches is at risk due to being diagnosed with Canine Infection Respiratory Disease Complex and will likely require home rest and a series of antibiotics for up to 14 days. This is a contagious illness to other dogs. Peaches is suitable for an adopter with an average amount of dog experience
Let’s get to know each other a bit more…
A volunteer writes: Gentle Peaches shows you how much more wonderful it can be to have a full-grown dog rather than a pup – proving that 8 is the new 4 (or 2, or 1!). No housebreaking needed here (her kennel is spotless), and we’re pretty sure your shoes will be safe from chewing, as well. Peaches has definitely kept up her looks – a beautiful, distinctive caramel coat with merle markings on her paws and chest – and she aced her health exam, but it’s her personality that truly shines. Her volunteer notes contain nothing but praise. She’s quiet inside, but does love exploring, coming eagerly to the front of her cage to be leashed, and always walking nicely by your side, throwing the occasional warm glance your way. She prefers you drop her treats on the ground for her to nibble daintily. Peaches combines the maturity and wisdom of middle age with the lust for life of a puppy, and promises to get even better with time (it that’s possible) in a home that will love her as much as her former one did. Could it be yours? Find out today at Brooklyn ACC!
