A volunteer writes: Patrick won my ‘Smile of the Day’ award, doing one of the things that pitties do best – a wide ear to ear grin!! His tail wags as he smiles, he’s social, friendly, fun and bouncy. Gorgeous in his gray and white coat with gray eyes to match, he sits politely when asked, gently takes a treat and wags, wags, wags, smiles, smiles, smiles. Likely housetrained he ‘went’ as soon as we were out the door, and will benefit from a harness and/or some leash training as he pulls on the leash. Patrick gets excited when he sees another dog, wanting to meet everyone, and in group play greets politely and takes correction if needed. Off leash in a pen he loved to play, picking up a ball, greeting a dog in an adjoining pen with happy tail wags, and then when the other dog brought her ball to the gate, Patrick did the same and they played ball together separately. Adorable!!! Patrick’s ideal home is one in which playtime, fun time, snuggle time and nice walks are part of the daily routine. He’s a fabulously fun dog who’s looking for a new family or person with whom to spend the rest of his life. Come meet him today!!
