Observed Behavior – Allows all handling, slightly timid Objective: P = WNL R = WNL BCS 5/9. EENT: Immature cataracts OU, slightly dirty ears with mild chronic thickening and hyperpigmentation, no nasal or ocular discharge noted. Oral Exam: Missing most teeth, severe dental tartar, gingival recession
PLN: No enlargements noted. H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic, coughing on leash ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated, tense. U/G: Neutered MSI: Ambulatory x 4, right sided grade 4/4 medial luxated patella, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, thin hair coat especially along caudal dorsum. CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Assessment: Geriatric, dental disease, immature cataracts, R- MPL, coughing – suspect tracheal collapse Prognosis: Good. Plan: Scheduled blood work. Continue to monitor while at BACC.
