Pantera came into our center as an owner surrender along with two other similarly sized dogs on 7/9/2016. He was uncomfortable and would not allow handling, growling. Due to this all tactile portions of the SAFER assessment were skipped. Pantera showed minimal interest in Toy, sniffing a few times before turning away. When off leash with other dogs, Pantera is nervous and avoidant. He only greets his former housemate. Pantera must be placed with a New Hope partner. He may benefit from rehoming with his other housemates as he seems to somewhat soften and relax in their company. Toy 1: Minimal interest. Dog-dog: When off leash with other dogs, Pantera is nervous and avoidant. He only greets his former housemate.
