A volunteer writes:

Despite his serious little face, Pacman is the talk of the adoption quarters. Everyone wants to take him out!  He is so dear, so cute, shy and gentle, loving too, so appreciative of the lap, the arms, caresses and hugs. He is just a babe at ten months of age and needs all the warmth and love he can get. Pacman is a petite redhead who might have a Boxer up his family tree. He is very curious of his environment , wiggled his red nose and flags his giant butterfly ears, his eyes searching for whatever new  might be coming up. He is quite obedient, sits on command and takes very gently treats from my hand. Pacman was born with a slightly deformed left foot, giving him a bit of a limp which does not prevent him to want to go for walks and be in company. He is a brave little guy. Doing his business away from his kennel is most likely important to him too.He needs to rest from time to time and of course,  we oblige as it  means more lovely lap time . It’s easy to “fall” for Pacman, a pocket Pitie, so endearing, cute as a button and so affectionate. Come and meet him at once at the Manhattan Care Center and make him yours, your new forever best friend.

For more information on adopting from the NYC AC&C, or to find a rescue to assist, please read the following: http://urgentpodr.org/adoption-info-and-list-of-rescues.

If you are local to the Tri-State, New England, and the general Northeast United States area, and you are SERIOUS about adopting or fostering one of the animals at NYC ACC, please read our MUST READ section for instructions, or email helpdogs@urgentpodr.org. Our experienced volunteers will do their best to guide you through the process.

* We highly discourage everyone from trusting strangers that send them Facebook messages, offering help, for it has ended in truly tragic events.*
