Medical Summary Owner surrender, no health problems reported Alert, whining Tense, initially allows exam but then snarls and snaps at restrainer when I touch his scrotum. Attempted to muzzle but pt bit the muzzle. Restrained with towel for the rest of the exam – pt growling and snapping the whole time. Objective BCS 5/9, MMs pink EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal discharge noted Oral Exam: Moderate dental disease PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic ABD: Tense U/G: Male intact MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Assessment: Dental disease Plan: Neuter.
