Oral Exam: oligodontia w/ evidence of prior dental extractions (suture scarring visible from maxillary carnassials extractions); grade 2 tartar on remaining teethPLN: No enlargements noted. H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, lungs clear, eupnic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: Neutered male MSI: Ambulatory x 4 w/ grade 2 LLPs (lateral) bilat, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Rectal: DNP Assessment: Suspected otitis externa AU (AS>AD); Grade 2 bilat LLPs; oligodontia w/ evidence of numerous previous dental extractions; grade 2 dental tartar on remaining teeth; middle-aged MN dog Prognosis: good Plan: Mometamax AU BID x7d, ok for placement
