Odie is a good looking Boxer with a twist. A well deserved name with his antenna ears, googley eyes , his tongue sticking out at times and his tentative behavior that sometimes makes him look silly.. Odie appears a little wary in his kennel. Brush that off and just take him out… He pulls a bit on the leash and does his business as soon as we are out. He can sit on command and does run after a ball without catching it.He loves treats of all kinds and will jump soooo high to get them. Still, he takes them very delicately from my fingers with his lips.. He comes briefly on my lap for a hug and gives a fast kiss. He enjoys to be caressed..Although lively, he seems to have a delicate and sensitive soul. In playgroups with his peers, Odie does not really mingle but in the street or across a gate, he seems to enjoy other pooches company. Odie is certainly one of a kind. His beady eyes and fudgy face make him look quite unique. He might be a stray but he has been well cared for. Odie is indeed rather healthy and well nourished. Come and meet Odie at the Manhattan Care Center. Be sure to bring some treats to get to know him..He will be waiting for you in our adoption quarters…
