A volunteer writes: Joining us with his bestie Anakin, Obie Wan is estimated to be about 14 years old. He has very cloudy eyes, bad teeth, some hard masses all over his body, but none of that stops him from wanting to cuddle with his human, trot around a backyard pen off leash, go potty outside, and spend quality time with Anakin. When I stopped petting him he nudges my hand to carry on, he takes a treat gently and solicits attention from both people and his bestie. He’s seen better days physically, but his sweet, gentle personality is unfazed by age. He doesn’t know he’s old and that age has taken its toll and we sure aren’t going to tell him. He and Anakin deserve to spend the rest of their lives together surrounded by warmth and love. Let’s make that happen for them.
