Medical Summary DVM Intake Exam Estimated age:10 Microchip noted on Intake? n History : o surrender Subjective: I believe this dog has a sialoceole, but there is no corresponding diagnosis on in our system: 40cc thick yellowish fluid with mucus like characteristics were removed from a thin walled cyst on the ventral neck. Once drained, a small soft grape sized mass is palpable in the pocket. It is unclear whether this is a true mass or just tissue irritated by the presumptive sialocoele. Observed Behavior – very calm Objective P = 100 R = wnl BCS 3/9 EENT: sclerosis ou Oral Exam: heavy tartar, dental dz PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: intact MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, matted fur CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Assessment geriatric, ddz, sialoceole Plan Prognosis: fair This mass would have to be surgically addressed to be cured, but is likely not a malignant process, so could be left alone if it did not bother him.
