A staff member writes: Noah was brought to us because his owner is homeless. He is a sweet boy that has lived with children and noted to be respectful. He is a bit scared of big dogs however not showing any aggression towards other dogs

Basic Information: Noah is a 2 year old unaltered male, owner had him for a year and a half. Owner stated do to not having a place to stay at the moment it was best to bring Noah into the shelter.
Previously lived with: 2 Adults and 2 Children
How is this dog around strangers? Noah is friendly and outgoing with strangers.
How is this dog around children? Noah has been around children between the ages of 2 and 10 years old, he is respectful and playful.
How is this dog around other dogs? Noah hasn’t lived with dogs but when passing a dog outside he is fearful.
How is this dog around cats? No cats in the home.
Resource guarding: Noah doesn’t have any resource guarding that the owner was aware of. She was able to take treats and food away from him.
Bite history: No previous bite history.
Housetrained: Yes
Energy level/descriptors: High
Other Notes: Noah isn’t bothered when you take his food, toys or treats away. He is friendly when he is given a bath, left in the yard alone or when someone new approaches. He is afraid when you try to trim his nails.
Medical Notes: No previous medical issues that the owner was aware of.
For a New Family to Know: Noah is described as friendly, playful, and respectful around new people. He has a high activity level and likes to play with balls and squeaky toys. In the home, he liked to follow the owner around from room to room. Noah was kept mostly indoors and was walked daily he pulls slightly when on the leash. He was fed both wet and dry food in the home brand Pedigree. When left alone in the home, he was always well behaved. Owner has never tried to crate train him so behavior is unknown. Owner has never walk him off leash because he would run away.
