PLAYGROUP: 09/16/2016 When off leash with other dogs Nivea is uncomfortable and corrects any interaction. Summary MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: 09/14/16 During her initial medical examination, Nivea allows minimal handling though will growl and lunge; did not make contact with handler. RECOMMENDATIONS: Experienced adult home only _X_No children (under 13) (Potential for defensive aggression) Potential challenges: _X_Fearful/potential for defensive aggression (Nivea has been uncomfortable her entire stay at our care centers and allows minimal handling. Any attempts to interact with Nivea results in panicked behavior. When pushed she will respond with appropriate warning. We recommend a period of decompression to aid in acclimation to a new environment. Force-free, reward based training is advised when introducing exposing Nivea to new and unfamiliar situations.)
