A volunteer writes: Sweet Nena, or “Tubby,” as I affectionately like to call her, can sit for treats and loves to chase the ball and then carry it around with her (or at least for a minute or two before she gets too tired and lays down–this girl could use more exercise!). She is very easy to walk on the leash, seems housetrained, and would do great with an adopter who’s ready to give her the basic TLC she needs. She’s clearly a happy and energetic girl on the inside, but she seems to have put on a few extra pounds, and judging by her long nails, hasn’t gotten out much (a bath wouldn’t hurt, either). With a bit more exercise, love, and a quick nail trim, this sweet, calm girl will be ready to go home with you. Please come and see her at the Brooklyn ACC today.
