A Little Bit About Me…
A volunteer writes: You can’t meet Nadia and not fall in love. Nope, not possible. She had me at her first tail wag as I succumbed to her charms. She’s a Rubenesque little girl who loves to cuddle in my lap, gives kisses, and is as gentle as the day is long. Surrendered by her family due to NYCHA issues, we’re told she’s gentle and relaxed with children of all ages, plays gently with adults, is friendly to all, doesn’t guard her stuff, is “very housetrained” and will only go on grass (she found a pile of leaves to pee on), is well behaved when left home alone, and knows ‘sit’, ‘give paw’, and ‘roll over’. While I didn’t test the roll over command, she happily does so that I can rub that sweetly plump belly as she wags her tail. Nadia’s leash manners are lovely, she wagged her tail hello at a small dog on a retractable leash that ran up to us, hung out with me on the bench as I took some notes climbing up to lie beside me. Enjoying bouncy play in her first playgroup and then rocking her behavior assessment, Nadia has shown herself to be an awesome girl who has it all. Well, almost all….she’s missing a new family to love and cuddle with and that’s where you come in. Don’t miss the chance to meet her today. She’s best friend material and as special as it gets.
Let’s get to know each other a bit more…
