03/30/16 11:00hrs Mylie would sit with her back arched and her head lowered. She would become alert by raising her head when approached. Mylie was tolerant of touching but her body would flinch in response to being touched. Mylie would sit near the person showing her affection. She was collared, scanned for a microchip(negative) and photographed.
04/02/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Mylie is a timid gal, a little wall flower, looking straight at me with giant eyes from her kennel. I pet her head and leashed her easily. She has a faint cough. After negotiating the stairs very carefully, Mylie relieves herself right away as we enter the yard. She is very hand and camera shy…She runs away at the sight of my phone or my Sony…She is not interested in my treats but likes to be petted once she is settled by my feet and half under the bench. Mylie is quite pretty and very medium size. Her coat is well groomed and I can see that she has had her share of litters. Her eyes might be big but they are not supporting a good vision..Indeed, Mylie bumps easily into things when she is not guided. She seems a little weak too on her feet… No wonder that she is a bit lost at the care center, a place she is not familiar with. Gentle Mylie needs your help and your love…I know she will bond tightly to the one who will open his /her heart to her….Mylie is at the Manhattan Care Center, dreaming to be yours.
