09/09/16 19:10 BASIC INFORMATION Muscle is gray and white American Pit Bull that is 2 years old. Muscle was a gift to the family. The owner is surrendering Muscle due to personal problems and having no time. Muscle possibly has a skin allergy. SOCIALIZATION When strangers come over the house Muscle is friendly and outgoing. He sniff people and seeks attention. He has been introduced to children ages 4 and 14. Due to his large size he through his weight around and can play rough. He is very excitable around the family and seeks for affection. He has never lived with cats. But he has been introduced to a small dog. Muscle is playful and respectful around the other dog. BEHAVIOR Muscle allows all handling from the family. However they have never touched his food bowl while eating removed toys from his mouth or removed rawhides. He enjoys baths, brushing his coat and trimming of the nails. He has never has a bite history. FOR NEW FAMILIES TO KNOW Muscle is described as excitable, playful and friendly. He has a high activity level. He always seeks for attention and follows the family around the house. He sleeps in his doggy bed. His favorite dog food is Max favorite lamb, 4 cups, twice a day. His favorite treats are chew bones. When left in the yard his well-behaved. He is crate trained and will hold it for hours. Muscle favorite game is fetch and loves to play with balls. BEHAVIOR DURING INTAKE Muscle during intake was very playful and friendly. He approached counselor and sniffed. He enjoys being petted but pulled hard on the leash. He allowed being collard, scanned and photographed.
