When leashed and walked out of the carrier, he pulled and was trying to flee. He was not handled for collaring because of his medical condition.

07/15/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Due to Musketeer’s medical condition and response to touch (likely influenced by his skin condition) he is not a candidate for a SAFER assessment at this time. We recommend placement with a New Hope partner who can address his medical conditions and then re-evaluate behavior in a stable home environment.
07/13/2016 GROUP BEHAVIOR EVALUATION
Exam Type GROUP BEHAVIOR
Musketeer was surrendered as a stray so his past behavior around other dogs is unknown. 7/13: Musketeer is not a candidate for a dog-dog interaction due to his lameness, skin condition, and swollen paws. Performing a dog-dog interaction would be an unfair assessment due to the possibility that Musketeer may be very sensitive to another dog’s greeting.
