02/12/16 11:17 Basic Information: Ms. Jones is a 2 year old female Pit Bull mix that has no past or current medical issues that the owner is aware of. Social Life Personality: Around strangers and children, Ms. Jones is extremely friendly. She will walk up to just about anybody. She has lived with young children and infants and always wants to play. She has been around cats and dogs before and previous owners stated they got along fine. Ms. Jones has never bitten another animal or person before. Behavior: Ms. Jones is not bothered during storms or fireworks. According to the owner, she is a great dog with no behavior issues. She is not bothered when her rawhide, toy, or food is touched. She enjoys baths and is not bothered by having her nails trimmed. When somebody unfamiliar approaches the house, Ms. Jones will bark but exhibit no signs of aggression. She is eager to meet the person. She enjoys having her coat brushed and is not bothered when disturbed while sleeping. For a New Family to Know: Ms. Jones is described as being friendly, excitable, confident, pushy, and playful. She is described as having a high activity level. The previous owners loved how loving and affectionate she is to everybody she meets. When in the home, Ms. Jones will follow you around seeking attention. She loves kong toys and large hard bones to chew on. She liked playing tug of way with her toys. Ms. Jones would do best, according to the owner, in a loving home with people who will pay her lots of attention. She was fed both dry and wt food mixed together, Gravy Train and Pedigree. Ms. Jones is housetrained and has not been crate trained before. She rarely has accidents if ever. She loves long walks and to run around.

Ms. Jones came into our center as an owner surrender on 2/12/2016. It is reported she lived with young children and infants, extremely friendly. Ms. Jones has also been around dogs and cats in the past, got along fine. Owner reports Ms. Jones is not bothered if someone touches her Food, Toys, Treats. Owner reports Ms. Jones is housetrained but has not been crate trained. Ms. Jones allowed all handling during her initial medical exam. She pulled slightly on leash for her relief walk. Ms. Jones held gaze for three full seconds during Look item, mouth open, tail wag. She stood still and accepted the touch during Sensitivity item, body soft, mouth closed, ears back, slight lip lick. She followed at the end of the leash for Tag game, focused on assessor, jumping up playfully at the end of game. Ms. Jones pulled her paw back on both Squeeze attempts. She showed minimal interest in Toy, though this may be due to environment as owner reports she loves Kong toys and playing tug of war with rope toys. When off leash with other dogs, Ms. Jones was polite when greeted by male and female dogs. She was loose/ wiggly and often solicited handler’s attention. The Behavior Team feels Ms. Jones would do well in an Average home and would make a nice family pet. She may benefit from obedience classes to learn leash manners as well as not to jump up. Look: 1. Dog holds gaze with soft eyes, soft body. She allows head to be held loosely in Assessor’s cupped hands. Dog holds gaze for three full seconds. Sensitivity: 2. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, her eyes are averted, her tail is between her legs, body soft, mouth closed, lip long, ears back, lip lick. Tag: 1. Follows at end of leash, focused on assessor, body soft, jumps up playfully at end. Squeeze 1 & 2: 1. Dog gently pulls back her paw. Toy: 1. Minimal interest in toy, dog may smell or lick, then turns away. dog-dog: When off leash with other dogs, Ms. Jones was polite when greeted by male and female dogs. She was loose/ wiggly and often solicited handler’s attention.

When off leash with other dogs, Ms. Jones was polite when greeted by male and female dogs. She was loose/ wiggly and often solicited handlers attention. When mounted by a male dogs, Ms. Jones offers a disproportionate correction. 2/17 update: Ms. Jones greets with a loose, soft body. She solicits play with a sexually motivated male however he does not reciprocate. She does correct him with air snaps in his direction for behavior that is uncomfortable for her.

initial microchip scan negative female intact no spay scar noted approx 2 years old BARH no eye ear or nasal discharge noted sclera and inside of pinna red ( possibly stress related) diahrrea in medical during exam- pudding consistency reddish in color parvo test and fecal test performed no fleas seen nice dog allowed all handling as per Dr 0962- metronidazole 250 1.5 tablets BIDx 7
