04/19/17 17:25 Basic Information: Monty is a 2 year old neutered, brown brindle American pit-bull mix; he came to the previous owner’s home as a gift. The owner had Monty for 7 months, before they surrendered him because of Monty being destructive. Monty has no known health issues or injures, and has not been to the vet recently. Socialization: Around strangers Monty can be friendly if he feel comfortable around them, or will sometimes growl at the individual if they are drunk. He has never been around children, while in the family’s home. Monty has lived with a Yorkshire and was very relaxed and playful. Around other dogs that Monty is unfamiliar with he will jump on top of them and acts very excited. Behavior: Monty is destructive he likes to chew on the phone cord, shoes, game controlers, and chair. If an individual tries to touch Monty’s food bowl he bothered and allows it to be removed. When someone attempts to take way a treat or a toy Monty is unbothered. During bathing and brushing Monty is slightly tense but will allow individual to wash and brush him. When an unfamiliar person or family member comes to the house Monty will bark at first but after few minutes he becomes relaxed and playful. For a new family: Monty was described as playful, affectionate, and excitable by his previous family. He has a very high activity level and often enjoys playing tug-a-war with rope toys. , Monty is feed dry food 2 times a day. He is trained to sit before fed and he does not bother the small dog in the home while they eat together. He is house trained and goes outside to use the bathroom 3 times a day on the grass. Monty has been crate trained, but is mostly kept outside and while on leash he pulls lightly. Monty knows commands like shake/give paw, sit, and down. Admission behavior: Monty had a loose body and allowed all handling.

He greets the helper dog with a body that is in a complete circle and his head angled down.
