05/03/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Mojo was difficult to remove from his kennel showing teeth, growling and grabbing at the leash. Once he was removed from his kennel he pulls hard on leash. Mojo was stiff and did not show social behavior during the assessment when the assessor tried to pet Mojo he stands tall, wrinkles his muzzle to expose his front teeth while growling. The behavior team decided to skip the handling part of the assessment for safety reasons. During the resources Mojo was not interested in toys. He was relaxed when approaching a friendly dog, but was not playful. The behavior department feels that he would do best if placed with a New Hope partner who can follow up on this behavior in a more stable environment and can provide any necessary behavior modification before placement into a permanent home. Toy: 1. No interest. Dog-dog: 2. Dog approaches helper dog with tail at spine level, body not stiff, ears relaxed, lip long or neutral. Helper: A1071949
