09/20/2013 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Delilah is a very attractive young female dressed in a shiny anthracite suit. She has beautiful eyes . Her ears are lined with pink silk, her nose calls for a kiss… She is a little on the thin side and her coat is patchy in a few places. I imagine that she would very much benefit from a good nutrition she has not gotten until now. Delilah is a bit skittish. She sniffs a lot in her environment. She comes when I call her, loves my treats for which she does not sit…yet. She wants to make friends, she needs comforting and she comes in “bursts’ on my lap for caresses. Delilah is a work in progress and soon enough, she will feel comfortable and play ball. I have no doubt about it. Delilah walks well on the leash, eliminates on the way and seems fine with other dogs met. Pretty Delilah is at the Manhattan Care Center, a little shaken by her abandonment but ready to blossom into a lovely and loving companion if you give her a chance, a chance to be her friend and forever master or family.
