Microchip noted on Intake?n; History :owner died. bleeding from anal area; Subjective:; Observed Behavior -calm, allow handling; Objective; T =P = 100 R = wnl BCS= 6/9; EENT: sclerosis ou, ears clean, no nasal discharge noted; Oral Exam:moderate tartar; PLN: No enlargements noted; H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic; ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated; U/G: neuter; MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat; CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities; Rectal: bloody mucousy stool or dc. digital exam: ledt side perianally is very thickened in area of AS but not impaction felt. AS rupture and subsequent inflammation is possible, but perianal neoplasia is possible; Assessment; perianal swelling vs neoplasia
