A volunteer writes: Micky came to us with his mom and dad, Bubbles and Cielo as they owner passed away. Like them, he was all matted but has been groomed since then and looks absolutely lovely. He is a spunky, lively and friendly little guy who clearly does not belong to a kennel. He loves to be in company, stretch his legs and do his business outside. Micky marks a lot his territory and maybe neutering will lessen or put an end to the issue. Micky meets properly other little dogs. He loves treats that he takes politely from my hand and has no handling issues. He is a good arm and lap dog and enjoys caresses. Micky comes with very good recommendations, having lived in harmony with a young child and even a cat. Like his parents, Micky is in need of a new home and a master to love. Come and meet him soon at the Manhattan Care Center.
PROFILE :
Micky is friendly around strangers and children, the child in the home is six years old. he is relaxed around other dogs. and has lived with two other dogs who were his sire and dam. He has lived with a cat as well and he is relaxed and gentle with the cat and they get along.
Micky is not house trained and uses the bathroom in the house every day. He barks a lot and is scared of loud noises and may get nervous and flinch or hide. He is not bothered by having his food or toys touched or taken. Behavior while being groomed is unknown. When someone unfamiliar approaches home or owner he will bark.
Micky has a high level of activity at home and will follow you around the house. He is kept indoors. He is not walked off leash and does not pull on leash. He knows the command come in English and Spanish. He is fed dry food three times a day.
Micky was curious and allowed handling.
