Medical Summary Sex: Female Scan: Negative Estimated age: 5-7 years old Fleas: No flea dirt. S: Nervous, was stiff or trying to climb up restrainer for the exam. Allowed me to lift the edge of her lip to look at her teeth briefly. Struggled for nasal vx and oral medication. O: BAR-H, BCS 4.5/9, MMs pink and moist EENT: No discharge OU, AU, nose, but lichenification of both ear pinnae, suggesting chronic irritation. Moderate to severe tartar. PLNs: Not enlarged. H/L: NSR, NMA. Eupnic, quiet lung sounds. Abd: Tense M/S/I: Amb x4. No skin lesions noted. UG: Female A: Dental disease Short-term prognosis: Excellent P: 1. Administered 1.1 ml pyrantel during exam 2. Long-term veterinary care should focus on dental health. 1088
