08/25/2017 AT RISK MEMO
Meara A1121976 is at risk for concerns that she is not thriving in the kennel environment. She began growling and lunging in her kennel when moved into the adoptions room, so she needed to be moved back into holding. Out of concern for her stress levels we recommend that she move into a stable home environment quickly.

08/20/2017 PET PROFILE MEMO
08/20/17 14:25 Meara (meaning “Sea” in Irish) A1122630 is a female black & golden brown small/small-medium size breed dog who was found two weeks ago tied up in a park in the Bronx. The finder felt bad for her but isn’t able to keep her any longer due to no pets being allowed in their building and apartment renovations but stated she’s a sweet girl that ate dry Holistic Health Extension Little bites 1-2x a day, slept with the finder, appeared housebroken as she used newspapers, was behaved when left home alone and was walked 1-3x a day. Meara allowed them to walk her to our BXAC location. During intake Meara had a loose body and allowed all handling. She allowed to be collared and taken pictures of. Meara didn’t seem to mind being picked up/held and was placed into her kennel with ease.
