A volunteer writes:
McCree is a little shy in his kennel . I understood quickly why…His vision is impaired although not absent. He is friendly, though and with the help of comforting words , McCree is quickly tight and snuggly in my arms. He is a bit hesitant to walk, mostly that it is slightly raining outside. He is prudent ,  does not run into walls , sniffs a lot the grass and does some business without marking. He very much loves treats. He is young at five years of age and owns very nice teeth. McCree was all matted when he arrived at the care center and was given a quick shave. He is a cute little fellow who is in dear need of TLC and a visit to an eye doctor. If you dream to help a pooch in need, make a huge difference in his or her life and gain a precious new friend at the same time…come at the Manhattan Care Center, meet McCree and take him home…

If you are local to the Tri-State, New England, and the general Northeast United States area, and you are SERIOUS about adopting or fostering one of the animals at NYC ACC, please read our MUST READ section for instructions, or email helpdogs@urgentpodr.org. Our experienced volunteers will do their best to guide you through the process.

* We highly discourage everyone from trusting strangers that send them Facebook messages, offering help, for it has ended in truly tragic events.*
