04/20/2017 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: This beautiful little bundle of energy is Max! He seems to be housetrained, pulls just a tiny bit on the leash (but is mostly easy to walk), knows how to sit for treats, and can even catch them in his mouth! The second you take a ball or a toy out in front of this guy, he gets very excited–jumping and whining and just generally getting ready to play. Based on this response, I thought he’d love playing fetch, but it turns out he just wanted to tear the ball into a million pieces (which he did in, I swear, less than a minute!). In fact, he still had a big orange chunk of tennis ball hanging from his mouth when he sat for treats a few minutes later (such a cutie). This guy would do great with an adopter who can provide lots of chew toys, exercise, and maybe some basic training to make sure Max knows not to jump when he’s too excited. If you’re looking for a playful, energetic, and happy dog, come and see Max at the Brooklyn ACC!
