Medical Summary Sex: Male intact Scan: Negative Estimated age: Reported to be 5 years old by owner Fleas: Mild amount of flea dirt in fur. S: Good appetite. Cage aggressive – barks, growls and snaps when in the cage. Once pt is leashed and walked outside the cage, pt is nervous, very tense and flinches at movement but did not growl or bite. Pt was muzzled for the exam, and allowed most handling except for nasal vaccination. O: BAR-H, BCS 3/9, MMs pink and moist EENT: No discharge OU, AU, nose. Muzzled – oral exam not performed. PLNs: Not enlarged. H/L: NSR, NMA. Eupnic, quiet lung sounds. Abd: Tucked up, no pain on palpation, no masses palpated M/S/I: Amb x4. Coat moderately matted, especially on ventral abdomen, with long fur on face. Moderate amount of flea dirt. UG: Male intact, testicles soft and symmetrical. A: 1. Underweight 2. Matted Short-term prognosis: Good P: 1. Put 0.9 ml pyrantel and Activyl 4-14 in food. 2. Requesting grooming 1088
