Medical Summary 01/30/17 Microchip scan neg. F, est. 9 mos. O: BARH. Very friendly, social, allows all handling. ORAL: mm=pink, moist, CRT<2 s. All adult teeth erupted, excellent dental condition. EENT: No oculonasal discharge. Multiple superficial wounds/abrasions right pinna. H/L: HR=92, RR=24. Lungs clear, no coughing. ABD/UG: Female, no spay scar. Abd palpation WNL. MS: Severe left forelimb lameness – tends to walk three legged but will occas. put the limb down. Mod. left fore swelling from distal antbrachium to carpus. BCS=4/9. INTEG: Dry haircoat. Superficial abrasions/wounds on right side of face, medial left thigh. Mod. to severe swelling cranial left shoulder, extending to ventral cervical region. Several small scabbed wounds cranial and lateral left front leg. A: Wounds, soft tissue injures primarily left sided. Left front leg – possible fracture. R/o trauma such as hit by car. Age est. 9 months. P: Rimadyl 66 mg SQ administered. PPG 2.3 ml SQ administered. Baytril 100 mg/ml 0.75 ml IM administered. Rimadyl 25 mg 2.5 PO q 24 hours x 7 days starting tomorrow. Clavamox 250 mg 1 PO BID x 7 days. Start tomorrow. Further treatment pending radiographs. Good to excellent prognosis depending on radiographic findings.
