I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 12/07/2016 from NY 11216, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

12/07/16 16:16 Upon intake dog was very friendly. He had a loose body and a waggy tail. He allowed everyone in the lobby as well as staff members to pet him. He ate a dew treats from the counselor and allowed all handling. He pulled very hard on the leash when he was being taken through the building As per the finder the dog was very nervous during the car ride over here. He threw up 3 times and urinated on the seat. Other than that he did not show any signs of aggression.

Dog’s mouth is likely closed for at least a portion of the assessment item. Tag:1. Follows at end of leash, body soft but distracted. Squeeze 1 & 2: 1. Dog gently pulls back his paw. Toy: 1. Dog settles down close to chew, will relinquish toy to you. Summary: Master Chief was friendly towards the assessor. Master Chief was surrendered as a stray so his past behavior around dogs is unknown. 12/8: When off leash with dogs at the Care Center, Master Chief displays soft body language when greeting a novel female dog. He solicits and engages in gentle play, tolerating the female mounting him. 12/9-12/10: In a group of playful male and female dogs, Master Chief displays loose and wiggly body language. He engages and solicits high energy play, tolerating a dog mounting him. 12/12: Master Chief was used as a greeter dog today and was tolerant of high energy play and persistent solicitations. He did however become slightly sexually motivated with calmer females but responded immediately to handler interrupters.
