Medical Summary Sex: Male intact Scan: Negative Estimated age: 4-5 months based on dentition Fleas: No flea dirt. S: Super wiggly and lovable, trying to climb into my lap! Allowed all handling. O: BAR-H, BCS 6/9, MMs pink and moist EENT: No discharge OU, AU, nose. Clean teeth – adult canines and PMs coming in. PLNs: Not enlarged. H/L: NSR, NMA. Eupnic, quiet lung sounds. Abd: Soft, no pain on palpation, no masses palpated M/S/I: Amb x4. Large (3×3 cm) superficial abrasion on dorsal aspect of left carpus. UG: Male intact, testicles soft and symmetrical. A: Apparently healthy adorable male puppy Short-term prognosis: Excellent P: Administered Activyl 22-44 and pyrantel 4 ml during exam 1088

Little Massimo earned his big boy bow tie fair and square, I’ve never met a more gentlemanly puppy in my life! He’s soft, affectionate and just as adorably bumbly as other puppies but also calm, attentive and well-trained. Massimo’s the kind of dog who seems perfect ‘right out of the box’ and I can’t imagine any home that wouldn’t be instantly happier for having him in it. He does pull a tiny bit on leash but already knows ‘come’ and ‘sit’, keeps a clean den, enjoys toys but isn’t crazy for them, likes to meet other dogs but never in a pushy way and takes treats very gently. And of course, he loves to snuggle! Massimo’s specialty is stand-up hugs but he excels in draped-over-your-lap chill out sessions too and he’s always happy to give and receive kisses. He’s an absolute gem of a puppy who will grow into a dog to treasure for a lifetime. Now that school’s back in session Massimo can’t wait to learn more about the world, especially this special thing called a ‘forever home’, and he’s looking for a kind and gentle teacher to guide him…will it be you?
