11/08/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: A big, goofy affable fellow – that’s our Mason…so happy to see a friend with a leash, he sat to be leashed and out we go. Going potty immediately once outside confirms what we’re told from his former owner who had to surrender him as he has no place to stay. We’re told that Mason doesn’t guard his things, and is described as friendly, affectionate, and playful. Mason is a gorgeous dog, his caramel color coat clean and groomed, his weight perfect for his size. He showed off his ‘sit’, takes treats gently, posed like a pro for pictures tilting his head and smiling – love that! Mason pulls hard on leash so a harness and/or leash training will make for a nicer walk on both ends of the leash, and he clearly felt it is his personal mission to rid our park of squirrels. Mason greets other dogs politely in group, but prefers to explore the pen on his own. A big, sweet and loving personality is going to go home with some lucky person….shouldn’t it be you?
