A volunteer writes:
Sleek, elegant and sporty… I can see why intake staff named this pup Maserati. His lush, velvety coat gleams with apparent good care, his tail wags, and he’s full of puppy energy – but in a sophisticated way. Likely housetrained, or at least well on his way, Maserati went potty as soon as we were out the door. He pulls on the leash so will benefit from some leash training and/or a harness. He’s young, friendly, playful and fun – all the things a young dog should be. He comes when I make kissy sounds at him and slides between my legs for some petting. Wagging his tail at dogs in an adjoining pen, Maserati seems friendly and interested in engaging. Anxiously exploring the pen, Maserati comes back to me for a quick petting and then off again to explore another corner. From time to time a bit shy, Maserati is an active, friendly boy who is looking for his forever home in which structure, positive reward based training, and lots of love are there for him. If you’re ready to accompany and help Maserati become the rock star grown up dog he is meant to be, he’s hoping to meet you today.
