A volunteer writes: Gilligan’s Island fans still ask the question, Ginger or Mary Anne? Fortunately since both are at the Brooklyn Care Center, having arrived as strays, you can meet them and decide who’s right for you and your family! Sweet as her namesake character, Mary Anne has that girl next-door type of personality. Nearly completely white, with the softest grey eyes, a patch of blue over her right eye, and the most delicate freckles upon her ears, she has that subtle beauty reminiscent of the TV star. Mary Anne is a bit more outgoing than her doggy friend Ginger, and whilst she is like a fish out of water on the leash (it seems she hasn’t received much training) she is more eager to try and explore her surroundings than Ginger is. She bounds around the yard, will chase after the ball and jumps up to give hugs. She seems like she’s had some housetraining, and is friendly towards other dogs in addition to Ginger. While there still might be a bunch of questions to ponder about Gilligan’s Island, (Like, how come the Professor could build a radio out of coconuts but not fix a hole in a boat?!) one thing is for sure, we shouldn’t leave Mary Anne stranded on our island for long, ask to meet her today!
