03/04/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: I knew that Marshmallow was a must for me to meet. Just his intake picture told me that. When I saw him in his kennel…oh my…I was right. What a beauty! 74 pounds of awesome gorgeousness looking at me, so hopeful to go for a walk. Marsh is a strong boy but perfectly manageable. He is very housetrained, marks a little his territory and sits beautifully on command, without much prompting, for a ball or treats. He loves tennis balls and will run fast for them, catch and savour them quietly while laying on my feet, my hand caressing his big head. Although he wags his tail a lot, Marsh looks quite serious. He did have a smile, and was all wiggly when his previous owner brought him to the care center… so I know that he can be silly. Marshmallow was beautifully cared for by his former owner and comes with excellent comments. Playful with kids of all ages as well as other dogs, welcoming of strangers, very affectionate, free of handling issues and a cat lover !!!!!! He lived with 3 of them and even slept with them…music to many people’s ears. Marshmallow is a masterpiece, a magnificent dog beautifully made by mother nature, a pleasure for the eyes and a very good dog too. Come and meet him soon at the Manhattan Care Center. He will make a fantastic forever best friend!!!
