ASSESSMENT:
Look:2. Dog’s eyes are averted. His body posture is fearful, trembles and his tail is low and not moving. He allows head to be held loosely in Assessor’s cupped hands.
Sensitivity:2. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, his eyes are averted, his tail is between his legs, body tense with his mouth closed.
Tag:1. Follows at end of leash, body soft.
Squeeze 1&2: 2. Dog quickly pulls back his paw.
Toy: 1. No interest.
Summary: Marko is a bit fearful but readily warms up and allows all handling/solicits attention.
PLAYGROUP:
Marko was surrendered as a stray so his past behavior around dogs is unknown. When off leash with dogs at the Care Center, Marko is nervous, greeting other dogs with a tucked tail while lip licking. He is initially tolerant of face to face greetings but will lip curl when a male attempts to mount him.
