Medical Behavior: Green,  Sex: Neutered Male, Age: 4 years,  Weight: 55 lbs,  Original Location: 10301

DVM Intake Exam; Estimated age: 4 years; History : owner surrender; Subjective: Observed Behavior – friendly, very active; Objective ; BCS 5/9; EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal or ocular discharge noted; Oral Exam: limited oral exam, teeth appear clean; mm’s pink; PLN: No enlargements noted; H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupneic; ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated; U/G: MI, 2 descended testicles; MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, interdigital erythema, periocular erythema, a few epidermal collarettes at ventral thorax, patch of alopecia at medial right thigh; CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities; Assessment; mild dermatitis- R/O underlying atopy vs food allergy vs mites vs other; Prognosis: good; Plan: start simplicef 150 mg PO SID x 14 days; SURGERY: Okay for surgery

Not Neutered. very high energy. Loves running and playing. Not extremely interested in toys. is affectionate and likes to cuddle.

Previously lived with:—– Owner and her two kids.
How is this dog around strangers?  Friendly/Outgoing
How is this dog around children?  relaxed, playful, respectful
How is this dog around other dogs?  Exuberant
How is this dog around cats?  Has not been around cats
Resource guarding:  owner stated marco lets her take food and toys out of his mouth.
Bite history:  None
Housetrained:  No
Energy level/descriptors:  high energy level
Has this dog ever had any medical issues?  No

Medical Notes: has not received vaccinations and has not been neutered. no medical history. hasn’t seen a vet in two years.

For a New Family to Know
This dog does better after given long walks. Owner said after exercise, Marco is much calmer. favorite treats-long lasting chews – bacon flavored treats.
