Location: Manhattan. Intake Date: 10/27/17 Intake Type: Stray. Medical Behavior: Yellow. Sex: Female. Age: 8 years. Weight: 57 lbs
Vet Notes: 4:20 PM – DVM Intake Exam: Estimated age: 7-8yrs
Microchip noted on Intake? scan negative History : Found as stray. Subjective: Observed Behavior – BARH, barking. Will growl to vocalize. When restrained for stifle exam, shows teeth and aggression. Objective P = 120 R = pant BCS 6/9 EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal or ocular discharge noted Oral Exam: Moderate tartar over canines, otherwise no gingivitis or lesions noted PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: Female intact, prominent mammary tissue but no mass appreciated MSI: Ambulatory x 4 with weight-bearing lameness LPL. No MPL, extremely tense so unable to evaluate for drawer, skin free of parasites, no masses noted. Over the ventral neck is a 3cm circular superficial erythematous swelling, appears to be healing from previous wound. CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Rectal: Normal externally. Assessment: Superficial healing wound/dermatitis over neck Limping LPL – r/o soft tissue vs. other. Prognosis: Good Plan: Start simplicef for dermatitis/wound over neck
Start Rimadyl 50mg PO BID. SURGERY: Okay for surgery in-house
