Was seen here in October 2016 and diagnosed with moderate tartar, orthopedic disease in LS and hip joints.  Nervous, pacing. Wearing basket muzzle. Tense. Allows basic exam. Objective BAR, BCS 4/9 EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal discharge noted Oral Exam: Not performed due to basket muzzle PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, Lungs clear, eupnic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: Abdominal cryptorchid MSI: Moderately decreased muscle mass in both hind legs and hips. Skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat. CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Rectal: Normal externally. Assessment: 1. Abdominal cryptorchid 2. Arthritis and muscle wasting in hind legs 3. Dental disease previously reported 4. Thin BCS Plan: 1. Monitor appetite 2. Permanent neuter waiver at ACC due to age, but recommend neutering elsewhere if possible – cryptorchid testicles frequently become neoplastic 3. Rec rads of hind limbs and consider follow-up care if necessary Prognosis: Fair-good SURGERY: Permanent waiver due to age. 1088
