PROFILE :
Socialization:
According to finder, Mack can either be shy or friendly around strangers, it depends on the person. Once he is comfortable around adults, he is gentle and very playful with them. Mack’s behavior around children is unknown as finder did not have children over his house. Around finder’s dogs, Mack was playful once he got more comfortable. Mack’s behavior around other cats is unknown as finder did not have any in his house. Mack did not bite another animal or person while in finders care for a week.
Behavior:
Finder did not try to take away Mack’s food, toys or treats therefore behavior is unknown. When given a bath, Mack is tolerant of it but tries to eat the water. Mack is friendly when having his coat brushed. He is not bothered when finder would restrain him. If finder left the house and someone tried to come to his house, he stated that Mack will try to bite the unfamiliar person.
For a New Family to Know:
Finder described Mack as friendly, affectionate, playful, shy, excitable and anxious. Mack has a very high activity level. He likes to play with balls, stuffed animals and bones but will destroy the toys that he is given. Mack is house-trained and did not have an accident while in the house. Finder stated he was well behaved when left alone in the home. Mack knows the commands sit and paw. On the leash, finder stated he used to pull very hard but is not better with it. Finder fed Mack Dry food only brand Eukanuba.
Upon intake, Mack came in wiggling his tail. I was able to scan Mack for a microchip without any issues. It is best to go slow with him at first as he may try to nip if he does not know someone.
