01/05/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Machamp was difficult to remove from his kennel low growling, his tail between his rear legs and lunges at the rope. Machamp did not show any social behavior. Once he was out of the kennel he start grabbing at the leash. The behavior team decided to place him back in his kennel he was difficult to handle. Due to the behavior demonstrated in the shelter the behavior department believes that Machamp is not an appropriate candidate for SAFER. The behavior department feels that he would do best if placed with a New Hope partner who can follow up on this behavior in a more stable environment and can provide any necessary behavior modification before placement into a permanent home.
