A volunteer writes:
I saw Luz arriving at the care center, late at night. She was scared and hid under a chair. What a pretty gal, snow white and fluffy like a little cloud. Such dark and velvety eyes…I promised her that I would meet her again soon.. Luz came to us with handsome Buzz(Cupid) as their masters became homeless. They both have been outstandingly cared for pets and it is quite understandable that they are so uncomfortable. Time is doing its job, though as well as socialization by staff and volunteers. Luz was at her door when I came for her. She …jumped into my arms and stayed there enjoying human warmth…Luz feels so soft and feathery.  She is a great walker and does her business in one stop. She is not a pigeon chaser and she ignores little dogs met on the way. She was so happy to be in company and even played with a ball, leash free in a gated area.  Luz is a pleasure for the eyes and a very sweet little gal. She dreams of her home or a home and a master to love…. Let’s wish for her…upon a star…
