A volunteer writes: Until recently, Luna’s world consisted of three adults and the yard she lived in with her sister. While she looks very well cared for, sadly, she has not been well socialized. She is reported to be terrified during storms and fireworks, wary of strangers, and relaxed and affectionate with her owner. She is shy and nervous, but with a slow approach (and some treats!) Luna proves to be a gal that’s impossible not to fall for. She stays close to me on leash and is always checking in with soft, strong eye contact. She seems a little sensitive to touch in certain places, but seems submissive and is very cuddly in her own way. She’ll prop her paws in my lap, nearly go belly up, and even give me kisses on my nose — she is so, so sweet!! Luna will need some time and patience, but I think she will build such a strong bond with her new person and that her companionship is priceless! Please come meet beautiful Luna at Brooklyn ACC.
